LaVega High School, Waco, Texas, is seeking a highly motivated NJROTC certified Navy, Marine Corps, or Coast Guard Officer (W2-O6) to fill an SNSI position which is available for immediate fill. Cadets are active and enthusiastic in community service and competitive events. Most of these events take place after normal school hours. Expect to work 1-2 Saturdays per month. 

 

The unit has active competitive drill teams and a very robust orienteering program. Cadet enrollment is typically 100-110 with a school enrollment of 950. Instructors have an 11-month (207 day) contract plus a coaching stipend. The unit enjoys great support from the district, school and the community.
