Job Title: High School Science Teacher/Assistant Coach Start Date: August 2023
Reports to: Campus Principal and Athletic Director Pay Scale: CISD Teacher Scale plus coaching stipend(s) (197-day contract)
Primary Roles:
- Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in the academic subject area assigned.
Education/Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate-Biology
- Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Knowledge of academic subject assigned
- Knowledge of curriculum and instruction
- Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
