Job Title: Licensed Athletic Trainer (ESSER Funded) Start Date: July 2023
Reports to: Athletic Director Pay Scale: CISD Teacher Scale plus stipend (197-day contract)
Primary Role:
Serve as the District’s Athletic Trainer.
Education/Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
- Valid Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) or comparable certification
- CPR and AED certification
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Knowledge of sports injury prevention and treatment
- Ability to provide emergency care and rehabilitation for student athletic injuries
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Assist with daily district needs
