Aquilla ISD is looking for a qualified candidate that can step into our 2nd grade classroom for 6-8 weeks beginning middle of December while our permanent 2nd grade teacher is out on leave.  The person will need to have a patient demeanor and a compassion for younger students.  The right candidate will lead lessons planned by the classroom teacher, grade papers, and manage classroom behavior.  We have a strong elementary support team there to assist and guide.  Texas Teacher Certification is preferred but not required.  Previous classroom experience as a substitute or paraprofessional is required.  Thank you for your interest in Aquilla ISD.
