GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION:
To instruct adult learners in the areas of English Language Acquisition (ELA) and GED (General Education Development) Preparation. Our program services the following counties: Bosque, Falls, Freestone, Hill, Limestone & McLennan. These positions are part-time, temporary, and filled on an as-needed basis. These positions receive general direction from the Project Director of the Adult Education & Literacy Program. 
*Employee may not work more than 19.5 hours per week.*

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
 
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:     Preference will be given to candidates with Teacher’s Credentials.
 
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Sedentary-Desk work; occasional field trips e.g. for college or program activities. Minimal Hazard/Exposure-Standard office setting.  At least minimal environmental controls are in place to assure health and comfort.
 
BENEFITS:
Part-Time Retirement. Participation in Medicare Part A, but not Social Security (FICA).
