GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION:
To assist in the instruction of adult learners in the areas of English Language Acquisition (ELA) and GED (General Education Development) Preparation. Other responsibilities will include tracking and submitting attendance and student hours for testing, as well as maintaining excel spreadsheets, and offering support to the instructor as needed. Our program services the following counties: Bosque, Falls, Freestone, Hill, Limestone & McLennan. These positions are part-time, temporary, and filled on an as-needed basis. These positions receive general direction from the Project Director of the Adult Education & Literacy Program. 
*Employee may not work more than 19.5 hours per week.*

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High School diploma and GED.
 
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Sedentary-Desk work; occasional field trips e.g. for college or program activities. Minimal Hazard/Exposure-Standard office setting.  At least minimal environmental controls are in place to assure health and comfort.
 
BENEFITS:
Part-Time Retirement. Participation in Medicare Part A, but not Social Security (FICA).
