Description/Notes: Special Knowledge/Skills:
Under the direction of the Principal and supervision of the special education teacher, assists in implementation of classroom programs, including self-help, behavior management and instruction programs
Qualifications: HS Diploma or GED
Pass the physical restraint certification of crisis intervention
prevention training and obtain certification.
Work well with children with disabilities
Work with students with mild to moderate learning and physical disabilities and/or mild to severe emotional disabilities.
Ability to implement policies and procedures
Ability to communicate effectively with students, adults, and staff.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
