Elementary Bilingual Teacher (K-3)

Essential Functions
  • Develop and implement lesson plan that fulfill the requirements of district’s curriculum program and show written evidence of preparation as required.
  • Prepare lessons that reflect accommodations for differences in student learning styles.
  • Present subject matter according to guidelines established by Texas Education Agency, board policies and administrative regulations.
  • Work with other members of staff to determine instructional goals, objectives and methods according to district requirements.
  • Create classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate for the physical, social and emotional development of students.
Additional Duties
Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Principal and other central office administrators as designated by the Superintendent.

Travel Requirements
Travels to school district buildings and professional meetings as required.
Certification/License: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in any field or its equivalent 
  • Valid Standard or Probationary Tx Educator Certificate in Bilingual Generalist Spanish or Bilingual Education Supplemental Spanish.
Experience:
Successful prior teaching experience for the appropriate grade level preferred.
