LOCATION:       
Penelope Independent School District (216 students)
 
POSITION:          
Cafeteria Manager for 2024-2025 school year (if possible may join this school year to better understand the position if needed)
 
JOB DESCRIPTION:  
Supervise, train, and manage campus food service operation. Ensure that appropriate quantities of food are prepared and served. Meet time constraints set by menu requirements established by Central Office administration. Meet health codes.
              
Education/Certification:
High school diploma or GED
Food manager certification (may obtain after employment)
 
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of methods, materials, equipment, and appliances used in food preparation
Ability to manage personnel
Effective planning and organizational skills

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:           
Experience Preferred but not required.

Work Schedule:
179 days a year
6:30am to 1:30pm
 
SALARY: 
Based on Experience ($30,000-$45,000)
