Job Description
Primary Purpose:Assist teachers with behavior and instructional support. Assist teachers in the preparation and management of classroom including diffusing disruptive student behavior to refocus and transition students into classroom activities. Work directly under the supervision of a certified teacher and/or campus administrator.

Job Requirements
- Education/Certification:
- Associate’s degree or two years of study (60 college hours) at an institute of higher learning or
- Para Professional Institute Certificate
- Valid Texas educational aide certificate
- Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Ability to assist in behavior management and intervention
- Ability to assist instructing reading, writing, and mathematics
- Ability to work well with children
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Experience:
- Some experience working with children who exhibit behavior problems
- At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred
- Associate degree preferred
- Citizenship, residency OR WORK VISA IN United States required
