Job Title: Director of Finance

Primary Purpose: To prepare, monitor, forecast, and create reports regarding the school district’s budget, financial activities, revenues, and expenses.

Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Accounting, Master's degree (preferred)

Special Knowledge/Skills
Advanced knowledge of school finance, budgeting, accounting principles, and economics
Knowledge of information/data processing systems and financial applications
Advanced Excel skills and proficient in pivot tables
Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts and operations
Ability to resolve conflict, listen, and appropriately respond to concerns
Ability to manage budget and personnel
Ability to implement policy and procedures
Ability to interpret data
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Must be familiar with FASRG and GASB Pronouncements and Concepts Statements

Experience: 
Three (3) years job-related experience within a school district or other government entity
