Job Requirements

  • Education/Certification:
    • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
    • Must be fluent in English and Spanish
    • Positive reference check
  • Special Knowledge/Skills:
    • Knowledge of students’ academic needs in assigned subject area(s)
    • Knowledge of core content area(s) for assigned tasks
    • Knowledge of current effective instructional strategies and research-based best practices
    • Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
    • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience:
    • Three years of successful teaching experience
    • Previous experience working in a public school setting serving low income, at-risk, minority students
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience preferred
  • Bachelor degree preferred
  • Citizenship, residency or work visa required
