Position Overview:
 
Responsible for accurate data input for all special programs in district.
 
Each task requires exceptional knowledge and capabilities of the TXEIS student information system, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, and SuccessEd. Most tasks are performed on a daily basis. Some tasks require extensive monitoring and extra hours of work to be completed either after work or on a weekend. All duties require working closely with the District Special Education Director.
 
Qualifications/Skills:
 
  • Familiarity with state reports for Special Programs and English Language Learners.
  • Advanced knowledge of all Microsoft Programs for query and data capabilities.
  • Advanced knowledge of reporting and data input in TXEIS
  • Knowledge of SuccessEd or ability to implement system for special programs
  • Work 226 days per year
 
General Responsibilities:
 
Special Programs Student Information:
  •  Request student information from sender schools regarding incoming special education freshmen
  •  Maintain this information in SuccessEd
  •  Review ARD/504 paperwork for accurate data and to insure all data is compliant with data standards.
  •  Insure accommodations in SuccessEd match accommodations in TestHound for state testing
  •  Meet with campus PEIMS personnel to insure accurate paperwork
  •  Maintain inventory of documents used to evaluate students
