Position will begin in the middle of February and continue for 5 to 12 weeks. The class is self-contained with less than 10 students.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
Valid Texas teaching certificate for early elementary education (PK-4 or PK-6 Generalist)
Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned (2nd Grade)
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of core academic subject assigned
Knowledge of curriculum and instruction
Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience:
Working in a self-contained class.
