Abbott ISD is looking for an Agriculture Science Instructor/FFA Advisor for a very strong agriculture department in the supportive community of Abbott. It is a 1 teacher department. 
 Someone with strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. 
 Experience in all FFA Programs (CDE’s, LDE’s, and livestock shows) 
 Be willing to work extended hours and weekends and travel with students 
 Have knowledge of record book system and help students apply for awards, certifications, and scholarships 
 Possess/obtain Commercial Driver’s License with Bus Driver Endorsement 
 Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior 
 Ability to monitor and oversee student field experiences and projects 
 Ability to plan and deliver high quality instruction in and out of the classroom. 
 Ability to work seamlessly with a very strong Ag Booster Club 
 General knowledge of shop safety is required  Prior teaching experience is preferred, but not necessary.
