Windham School District is the education department for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, whose student population consists of adult offenders. We are seeking highly motivated certified teachers who are interested in helping to make a difference in their life and the lives of others.

Qualifications and Skills
Minimum Requirements for Certified Applicants: Texas State Board for Educator Certification (SBEC) teacher certification in Mathematics/Physical Science/Engineering -OR- Trade and Industrial Education with appropriate work approval -OR- a Vocational Trades and Industry with appropriate work approval -OR- any Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources: Grades (6-12); Technology Education, Industrial Technology, or Industrial Arts certificate.

**Current license as a Cosmetology Instructor issued by the Texas Department of Licensure and Regulation.**

Minimum qualifications for non certified:
Five years experience in Cosmetology within the last eight years or Bachelor's degree with three years of experience in Cosmetology within the last eight years.
