The following is a general job description and listing of responsibilities of an agriculture teacher at Aquilla ISD. It is not an all-inclusive list but does include:

·         Communicate and work collaboratively as part of a two teacher team

·         Possess strong agriculture science knowledge and skills as well as classroom and lab management.

·         Teach a variety of courses, which may include but not limited to: Principles of Ag, Small Animal, Wildlife, Fisheries and Ecology Management, Floral Design, and/or other animal science based classes 

·         Experience in all FFA Programs (CDE’s, LDE’s, and livestock shows)

·         Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal skills.

·         Strong work ethic, goal driven, team player, and passionate about the delivery of course content and FFA activities.

·         Maintain the Ag facilities, equipment, and supplies.

·         Possess/obtain Commercial Driver’s License with Bus Driver Endorsement

·         Comply with all district policies
