BRAINATION, Inc. started as a small, residential charter school in San Antonio in October of 1998, we have since grown to a system of ten schools across Texas. We serve over 3,000 students in our charter schools and thousands more in our partnership, private schools.

 

Our Bell campus is located within a juvenile detention center located in Killeen, Texas. Our middle and high school aged students are 100% at-risk with much potential. Our mission is to increase the capacity for human greatness. Our three imperatives: Belong, Be Great, Find Joy.

 

We are looking for student-centered teachers to lead in the spirit of our mission to increase the capacity for human greatness. Our learning environment engages students in the construction of understanding through asking questions, exploring, researching, and reflecting. We focus on strong academics but also teach tolerance, value diversity, support justice, and strive daily to fulfill our mission.

  

 

Bachelor’s Degree

Valid Texas Teaching Certificate

Meets state certification requirements for subject assignment

Special Education Certificate, preferred

3 years teaching experience

Knowledge of curriculum and technology used in instructional settings

Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
