Designs and implements a wide variety of activities that promotes a teaching staff that is highly qualified and able to help all students achieve challenging academic achievement standards. Provides students with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth.  Enables students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.

Ability to serve as the NATCEP Program Director, which requires the following:

· Licensed as a registered nurse in the state of Texas.

· Minimum of two years of nursing experience, at least one year of which must be in the provision of long-term care services in a facility.

· Completed course in teaching adults or have experience in teaching adults or supervising nurse aides.

· Hold or eligible for Texas teaching certificate in secondary content area (Health Science)
 

Bachelor's degree preferred.

Add $1, 175 for master's degree and add $1, 755 for doctorate degree.
