Mullin Main is seeking a Director of Transportation and Maintenance.
This position will be responsible for managing the district’s transportation operations and maintenance requirements on the Mullin Campus. Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the transportation department and oversee maintenance of all district-owned vehicles. The position will also be responsible for the maintenance of the campus and custodial operations. Qualifications: Education/Certifications: Bachelor’s degree or Relevant Technical Certification. A clear and valid Texas commercial driver’s license with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements. Special Knowledge/Skills: Ability to read and understand instructions for cleaning, maintenance, and safety procedures. Knowledge of minor repair techniques and building and grounds maintenance. Ability to operate cleaning equipment and lift heavy equipment. Ability to properly procure and handle cleaning supplies. Ability to pass the U.S. Department of Transportation alcohol and drug tests and annual physical exam. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Experienced required: Preferred – 2-years of supervisory experience in transportation, fleet operations, and maintenance operations / 2-year experience in maintaining a large plant or building / 1-year experience as a bus driver.
