Education/Certification:
Bachelor’s degree from accredited university.
Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or training for subject and level assigned
Clean and valid Texas commerical driver's license with Passenger (P) and School Bus Endorsements (S)
Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assignment
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of core academic subject assigned
Knowledge of curriculum and instruction
Knowledge of coaching techniques, procedures and University Interscholastic League (UIL) rules
Ability to instruct, supervise, and manage behaviors of students and athletes
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to pass U.S. DOT alcohol and drug tests and annual physical (related to bus driving)
Experience:
One year student teaching or approved internship.
Salary: State Base + local increment + stipend
