PRIMARY PURPOSE / FUNCTION:
Provide leadership and coordination to provide an aligned and articulated instructional program in subject area assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
Master’s degree from an accredited university with a major in assigned subject
Valid Texas teaching certificate preferred with endorsements for assigned subject
ESL endorsement preferred
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of curriculum design and implementation
Ability to evaluate instruction programs and teaching effectiveness
Ability to develop and deliver training to adult learners
Ability to interpret data
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience:
Three to five years teaching experience in subject area assigned
