To positively impact student achievement by providing interventions for students and professional development and coaching for teachers.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
- Master's degree (preferred) in education from an accredited institution
- Valid Texas teaching certificate
- Certified T-TESS Appraiser (Preferred)
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Excellent teaching skills
- Knowledge of assigned curriculum (grades K-12 TEKS), State assessment objectives, and best practices for instruction
- Knowledge of Academic and/or Behavior goal setting process and implementation
- Evidence of leadership skills
- Strong organizational, communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of best practices for adult learning and coaching
Experience:
- Three years experience as a classroom teacher
