  • 2-5 years of experience in school finance preferred
  • Minimum high school diploma 
  • Degree in accounting or finance a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel  and Microsoft Office
  • Must be organized, efficient, dependable, and confidential
  • Willingness to be a team player
  • Experience with federal grant writing preferred
  • Must understand fund accounting finance and be familiar with general ledger transactions
  • Ability to maintain, reconcile, and accurately report state and federal accounting records
  • Must be able to coordinate and communicate with various stakeholders within the organization
  • Ability to accurately create, maintain, and update expenditure reports
  • Ability to accurately prepare, process, and pay monthly expenditures
  • Willingness to process and order supplies through various vendors as required
  • Willingness to assist in the creation of an annual operating budget
  • Must be comfortable working with independent annual financial auditors annually
