Job Title:         Director of Technology

Primary Purpose:
Responsible for the overall management of the Technology Department and strategic planning of technology systems district-wide

Qualifications:


Education/Certification:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and certifications required
 
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets the most complex documents
Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints
Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex   topics to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors
Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written); interpret policy, procedures, and data;     coordinate district functions; maintain emotional control under stress
Ability to implement policy and procedures
Ability to interpret data
Ability to manage budget and personnel
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
