Response to Intervention (RtI) is an effective approach integrated by our school district to help all students. The RtI program provides our students opportunities to learn and work using guided practices that promote growth and learning at their grade level. The Response to Intervention Specialist must be knowledgeable of the 3 Tier RTI process used to design, implement, and monitor interventions that are intended to help students achieve academic success. This individual must possess the ability to work collaboratively with school administrators, teachers, staff, and parents to ensure effective practices for individual and small group interventions in grades Pre-K-12.
Education/Certification/License/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate within core content area(s); meet ESSA Highly Qualified Standards
- Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned
- Classroom teaching experience
