Primary Purpose:
The Chief Officer of Facilities and Operations shall provide leadership and operational oversight for
facilities, construction, custodial services, maintenance, energy management, and transportation.

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University or College
- Master’s Degree (preferred)
- Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction or other related field (preferred)
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Skilled in communications and team building
- Ability to solve complex problems and build consensus
- Ability to develop and implement long-range plans
- Knowledge of acceptable property casualty practices and standards
- Knowledge of Texas Education Agency rules and regulations
- Knowledge of policy and law regarding construction, property, and procurement
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of direct experience in the management of facilities
- Minimum of 3 -5 years of experience with public school construction
- At least 5 years of relevant experience preferred
- Bachelor degree preferred
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required
