Primary Purpose:
Assist teacher(s) in preparation and management of classroom activities and administrative requirements. Assist in implementing behavior support plans, behavior data collection. Work cooperatively with classroom teachers. Assist in enabling students to develop social and emotional competencies and skills to function successfully in society. Work under supervision of certified teacher.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification
High school diploma or GED or higher education
Special Knowledge/Skills:
· Ability to work well with children and assist with social-emotional skills and managing student behavior
· Ability to communicate effectively
Experience:
Some experience working with children
