Primary Purpose
Support Comanche ISD by maintaining facilities in good working order through minor repairs and facilities improvement projects.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Commercial drivers license preferred or must be willing to get CDL within 9 months of employment.
Special Knowledge/Skills
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Ability to operate hand tools.
Ability to operate Zero Turn mowers and weed eaters.
Ability to assist skilled workers with repair and maintenance of District facilities, including woodworking, replacing electrical switches and fixtures and motors and replacing and repairing plumbing fixtures.
Follow established safety procedures.
Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.
Mental Demands /Physical Demands
Frequent walking, sitting, lifting, stooping, kneeling, and standing.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Be able to work under stressful situations and time constraints
Be able to work in varied temperature extremes, inside and outside.
Regularly work irregular hours with occasional prolonged hours.
